It's pretty clear that Fall is finished, even if we don't have any snow here in Toronto. On the first cold day, listening to Madlib's jazz suite puts me in the frame of mind to ruminate on the last few months, with their unseasonably warm weather and periods of heavy rain.
All of these weather conditions are reflected here, as Madlib weaves together a sonic concoction that feels melancholy and wistful, while still holding out the hope of a few days of graceful Indian Summer.
