Criminal #7

Written by Ed Brubaker
Art by Sean Phillips

This series never disappoints. In this issue we get the conclusion of the Bad Night arc, and we finally get to see things from perspectives other than Jacob's. With that comes a lot of understanding as to what has been happening all along, and why it's been happening. We get to see things from the point of view of both Detective Starr (Officer Wrong), and Iris.

The best part of this book though is the revelation that Frank Kafka, the mildly surrealist Dick Tracy character that Jacob writes about, has been a major character and agent of change in this story all along.

As usual, Phillips work is beautiful. He and Brubaker have been an amazing team since the days of Sleeper for Wildstorm, and I'm very much looking forward to Incognito, their next book.
