This issue wraps up the International Flavor
arc, as Chu's rescue mission becomes increasingly complicated by the appearance of other players with vested interests in the Galsaberry issue on the island of Yama-Palu.Layman has layered this story quite nicely, as he has stuffed each issue with twists and reversals. This issue features pro-chicken guerrillas, angry frog farmers, a vampire (maybe), alien fruit, sibling rivalry, and a budding romance. Of course, the most surprising twist is that Chu's boss is nice to him.
Earlier, I worried that this book was a one-hit wonder kind of comic, but with each issue, Layman is drawing me further and further into his story. If you haven't tried this title yet, I suggest you give it a try.
