Unknown Soldier #7

This is another excellent issue of this new series. If you have been wondering about this comic at all, this is a great jumping-on point, as it tells a one-off story that doesn't require a lot of prior knowledge.

Moses is not sure how to start his war, and so he's basically wandering around in the bush, guarding the night commuters, and looking for any opportunity to come his way.

That opportunity comes in the form of Alimo, an Acholi who is attending university in the big city, and is brought back to the huts he was raised in (and fled) by his witless friends. Alimo's and Moses's stories collide when the group of students are found by some rebels patrolling the area.

I find this comic to be suspenseful and I love the exotic choice of setting. I really hope this is the new Vertigo title that gets to last (I know how that seems to work lately).
