While I'm not sure I always understood the action in this issue, it sure is pretty. Ward's psychedelic art and colours have really made this title stand out.

I did enjoy the story, but I found that at times it was lacking in exposition, and the delay between issues three and four did make it hard to remember exactly what was going on.

I'm not sure if Edmondson and Ward are planning on returning to the Gemini in the future; I hope they continue to work together, and I will definitely purchase their next project.

Olympus #3

I'm continuing to enjoy this title a great deal. As the penultimate chapter of the series, this issue has a lot going on. There is some exposition as to just who Pelops is (grade 9 Classics was a long time ago), and some nice, if short, action sequences.

As before, this book stands out because of its art, which continues to have a frenetic and psychedelic quality to it.

This title is recommended.

I'm quite enjoying this new title from Image. It has all the trappings of a good buddy/adventure movie, but grounded in Greek mythology. In this issue, the two brothers are made aware of the fact that Pelops, an old enemy, has escaped Hades, and is going after the daughters of Demeter, who are responsible for the different seasons on our world. They split up, to try to reach two of the sisters before Pelops.

The big draw in this book is the art, which is definitely unique. Ward makes use of as many scratchy lines as Leinil Francis Yu, but colours the book with bright, garish colours. It's a great look, even if it can, at times, make the action a little difficult to follow.

Olympus #1

This is an interesting new title from a couple of creators I am completely unfamiliar with.

The book is about two brothers who were granted immortality, and given the job of tracking down rogue Olympian gods; Hermes in this issue. There is something about them dieing and going down to the Underworld every second year or so, but not much was explained.

The chase sequence was dynamic and exciting, while also providing many opportunities for characterization - basically, this is a buddy cop movie, where the buddies are brothers and demi-gods. It's a good concept, especially when the end of the book carries omens that something has crawled out of the Underground.

The art on this book is the big draw. Ward's style looks a little like Leinil Francis Yu, but with a colour palette chosen by Kristian Donaldson. That's a good thing. Parts of the action sequence were a little hard to follow, but overall, this looks like a promising new title.
